Facts & Figures Online database

Please read these terms and conditions carefully, by placing your order or by using the database you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Prices stated are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged at the prevailing rate


1. The copyright of Facts & Figures online ('the database' ) is owned by Stewart Publications Ltd ('the owner'). You may not use the database on any computer or copy it or any part of it, without the licence of the Owner. The Owner offers you a non-exclusive licence on the terms of this agreement on payment of the appropriate licence fee.

2. You acknowledge that Stewart Publications Ltd owns all right, title and interest, including without limitation all intellectual property rights, in and to the database and that you will not acquire any right, title or interest in the database except the limited licence expressly set forth in this Agreement.

3. Unless otherwise agreed in writing all licences are provided on a 'per person basis'. This means that a single user licence only licences one person to use the Facts and Figures online database service. Subscriptions are not transferable. Subscriptions entitle the subscriber to use the service during the term of their subscription only.

4. Your subscription will terminate if you fail to abide by this agreement

5. The authorized user / subscriber has the right to view the database on a computer screen via the Stewart Publications website only. The licence permits authorized persons to download and view the material in temporary RAM / Random Access Memory only (to enable it to be displayed on a computer screen) and to export (where this facility is included as part of the subscription) and print information for their own use.

6. You may only use the software for the purposes of your own business for the comparison of competitive model information as supplied. You may not copy any of the information contained in this software for the purpose of providing the information to third parties.

7. You are not permitted to rent, lease, sub-licence, loan, copy, modify, adapt, merge, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works based on the whole or any part of the database

8. Your rights and obligations set out in this licence may not be assigned or delegated without the Owner's prior written consent.

9. Whilst the owners have taken reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy and suitability of the Facts & Figures online programme and database for the purpose for which it was intended, the Owners do not warrant that the programme, database or any information contained within it will meet your requirements or be error-free or that the operation of the programme will be uninterrupted or error-free or that defects in the programme or database will be corrected. You shall use the programme at your own risk and in no event will the Owners be liable to you for any loss or damage of any kind including without limitation post profits or other consequential loss arising from your use of or inability to use the programme or from errors or deficiencies in it whether caused by negligence or otherwise or arising from any use of the programme in conjunction with any other software programme.


10. The express terms of this agreement are in lieu of all warranties, conditions, undertakings, terms and obligations implied by statute, common law, trade usage, course of dealing or otherwise all of which are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. This agreement shall be governed by English law and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court, London.
